Hi,
So I want to record videos via obs with high quality without render video after this, so: [recording video] -> [upload to youtube] and I doing this but I have problem because youtube transcoding this video really long and maybe someone have good presets for this? I have good speed internet connection (100/100mb/s) so this is no problem for me with few Gb files.

My current settings:
  • Bitrate: 15 000 with CBR and padding CBR
  • Buffor: 15 000
  • Sound: AAC 48kHz 320 bitrate and stereo
  • Resolution: 1080p with 60 fps
  • Preset x264: veryfast
  • High profile
  • Keyframe Interval 2 Seconds
  • CFR enable

You're not going to be able to avoid the long processing times on youtube, as those are dictated by youtube's infrastructure and not your own setup.
Also, 1080p60 has higher processing times on youtube than 720p60 and 1080p30 because of the additional formats that need to be produced. (1080p60 has to do all the formats below it including 720p60 and 1080p30)

But you know when after record video I render this video via Adobe Premiere youtube transcoding this video twice faster so I think my settings could be better.

I find that just running a video through the program Handbrake is enough to bring the overall encoding profile more in line with youtube's processing and ends up being a lot more efficient since you don't have the same big process as with premiere.

Additionally, handbrake supports QSV encoding if you have the correct generation intel cpu and proper settings to enable it.

If you're doing this for recording, following the high quality recording guide might give you better settings for higher quality videos to start with even if you have to transcode.

ok and I have question about: CBAC, Closed GOP. GOP of half the frame rate and Chroma subsampling: 4:2:0. Can I set this somewhere in obs? I think in custom x264 settings but how?
