Question / Help Best Capture Cards for Streaming PC? (2 capture cards needed)

Hello!

Me and my brother need 2 new capture cards for our streaming PC!

We had one Live Gamer HD and we got one more but we bricked it.
So now we need 2 new ones and i never touch Avermedia again.

We using HDMI and 3.5 sound so the card need have that kind of sound solution.
Or maybe someone can help us with other solutions. NGINX is not intresting to complicated to use!

Maybe Blackmagic Intensity PRO is good?

I recommend to double check that you can use more than one of the CC you are going to get in one PC. Some manufacturers are simply too dumb to write proper drivers that support two of the same CaptureCard in one pc.

BlackMagic in general is a good company but their devices are a bit more finnicky than the Avermedia ones, it should be a big problem if you capture PC output though. The audio setup you outlined in theory should work. You can normally switch the Audio Pin.

Last but not least the BMI Pro 4K got a bit mixed result so far. People seem to have problems properly using it, so check some reviews.

Our goal is to capture my gaming PC and my Brothers Gaming PC and use OBS to show both me and bro at the same time. Now we using one Avermedia Live Gamer HD with a HDMI switch.

If you capture PC output you normally can set resolution and hz/fps exactly as you want them, and thus can configure the capture card accordingly without problems. Consoles can sometimes be a bit more problematic.
