Question / Help Best available stream settings?

yo,

after trying out shadowplay ( quality sucked when streaming, not when recording ) I changed to OBS and I already tried out a few settings but I really want to stream as soon as possible and I couldn't figure out what to change and what not. Could someone be so kind and give me a customized setting that allows me to stream the best quality without worsen my gameplay experience? For instance when I play LoL.

Specs:

AsRock Z77 Pro 3
Intel 3570K Quad 3,4GHz
Nividia GeForce GTX 780 zotac amp edition OC
8GB RAM

For my internet connection I got 92 mb/s down. avg. and 2,8mb/s up. avg. I appreciate every suggestion!

That's what I tried out but the outcome didn't satisfy me. I got some minor lags in-game which I couldn't believe since my fps was still way above 60fps ( dunno what exactly because I have vsync enabled ).

CBR + padding activated
quality 9
max bit. 1800 max puff. 1800
process priority normal
x264 CPU fast
x264 enc. main

oh and 1 more thing. would you suggest activating nvidia NVENC? if yes, where do i get a license-thingy?

Sadly I cannot say it helped me. I already check out the estimator but I guess it is nowhere near being viable. with 2,8mb/s uploadrate it suggested 2,5mb/s as maxbitrate. Furthermore it gives me not the information I need. But well that aside.. concerning shadowplay: when I first heared about it I thought no way can this be. no loss of fps and a nearly non impact on gpu etc? well i must say the recorded videos are a very good quality but in terms of streaming it just is below average. Everything's so blurry :( Hope for more answers!

Er, you're streaming at 1080p40 at only 1400kbps, which is why it looks so bad. Change your FPS back to 30, and downscale your resolution by 2x, and see how that helps things. If you have the ability to raise your bit rate up to ~2000kbps, then you can bump your downscale to 1.5x instead.

Sir,

I already tried 720p resolution ( down at the bottom of the log ) and even with 1800 kb/s bitrate! Dunno if I can go any further since at this rate my ping goes up to 50-60 average. My PC isn't the problem the ingame FPS is just fine HOWEVER the gameplay experience gets worsen because I get constant lags ( like a video that is stuttering ). It can be described as several mini freezes? And those mini freezes are shown on the stream too!

What is important: Whether it is 1080p or 720p doesn't change a thing for me. Both don't have loss of fps but give me a hilarious amount of lag.

Well, the lag is being caused by bitrate, not your resolution. Keep lowering bitrate until the lag stops, that's really the only thing you can do at this point. This will necessitate some downscaling to preserve quality, which is why dodgepong advised it.

You can also try enabling "Minimize Network Impact" in Broadcast Settings to see if that helps with ping.
