Hi!

My upload speed is 5 mbps. I want to stream in 720p. I have i5 2500 CPU and 8 GB of RAM and GTX 560 Ti (soon to be 780).

What setting should I be running in OBS?
Do I activate CBR?
Bitrate 4000 kbps will be ok? (It says to stream on Twitch I should set 3500 - should i do that?)
Which number should I set "quality balance" to?
If I want to stream in 1280x720, do I have to set both resolutions on 1280x720, or only downscale my normal 1080p to 720p?

I've read this: http://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends ... _with_obs/

And it says that 800 bitrate is good for a good PC...? I thought the higher is better.

I tried streaming Counter Strike Global Offensive. Works quite good, but it's not super fluid. I wonder what can I do to improve.

I would be also grateful for any tips and advices, maybe I didn't check some options or forget about something...

Thanks in advance.

3500 is for 720p fine if you can support that bitrate. Ignore quality balance, turn on CBR.

Did all that. Quality still is not perfect, but it's fine I guess for stream. Wonder if there's anything else I can do, but probably not...

One more thing - tick "Custom buffer size"?
