Question / Help Battlefield 4 streaming

Hi

i'm trying to stream Battlefield 4. I dont get the right settings for my stream.
My PC:
Win8.1
i5 3570K @ 4.3Ghz
nvidia geforce 670gtx
8gb ram

My Inet:
60 mbit/s down
4.7 mbit/s up
19ms ping to twitch server

Without streaming i run bf4 at ~120fps

How can i improve my performace of the game and/or the quality of the stream.

BF4 is incredibly system intensive on its own, and then you are trying to real time encode 1080p on top of that. Your i5 is probably limiting you a lot, here. Try using either QuickSync or NVENC to increase performance, though you'll have to raise bitrate to compensate for the quality loss.

Though really, I just don't recommend trying to stream BF4 at 1080p without a 2PC encoding setup. It's just too much stress on an i7 system, let alone an i5 one. I would definitely recommend downscaling to 720p.

I'll try to downscale to 720p and use NVENC. Which NVENC present should i use?

If you use NVENC, the recommended preset for streaming is High Quality Low Latency.

I changed my bitrate to 4200 kbit/s, downscaled to 720p and use NVENC High Quality Low Latency.

Whats your opinion of the quality of the stream? Whats the cheapest way to improve the stream quality (hardware upgrade)?

Well, I would go back to 30fps and drop to something like 3000 bitrate. 4200 is way too much.
