Question / Help Basic Stream Question

I am thinking of buying a gaming PC soon. I already have a quite good gaming laptop. Is it possible for me to play games on my laptop and stream off my PC or vice versa? And also which would be more advisable, streaming off laptop or PC.

It's always easier to stream off of a decent PC because of the resources it can take to stream. Now if you want to play games on your laptop and stream from your PC, you would need a capture card. The are alot out there but a PCIe Card would be the best choice for the PC. Then you would run HDMI from the laptop to the capture card in the PC.

But with how well OBS handles game capture now, if you build a decent rig you can do it all on one system.
