Bug Report Bandwidth leak after update to 0.583b

So, I've been streaming on and off for over a year with OBS, nothing professional, just random gaming so my friends can watch. I update OBS pretty regularly, and have had a pretty consistent experience. But since prior to the most recent update, without changing any streaming settings, my pings in various games went from being like, 50-100, to being up in the 5000+ areas, looking at Net Limiter 3, it appears to be eating ridiculous amounts of upload speed.
Edit: Minor update, I have Time Warner Cable, but again, I've had this provider for around 6 months or so, and this issue is popping up, just now for the first time.

Have you guys tried checking the server that you're streaming to? It's possible the latest update could have switched your server by chance. I updated and streamed an event recently out of town and was getting tons of frames drops and red signal. Was pulling my hair out until I checked the server I was streaming to. Keep in mind I should have changed servers the first time around, but that definitely changed everything and I didn't drop a single frame afterwards and had nothing but green skies after!

The network code wasn't touched from 0.582 -> 0.583 so it's not a problem with OBS. Try double-checking your settings and trying different servers.

The last 2 updates for me have been causing Frame drops and weird Bandwidth issues. I have never experienced this before with OBS until a couple updates ago. I've checked with my ISP and have tried different servers but it all seems the same, erratic bandwidth usage (not enough, or way too much) resulting in frame drops.

No issues whats so ever with frame dropping or bandwidth limits streaming at a max of 3000 bitrate

My is 3000 as well, my upload speed is rated at 8000 (sometimes I get 8k, sometimes not.. etc) Just finding this weird after 2 updates ago.

You can try downgrading to 0.582 and see if that works, but there were zero changes that could have affected this between 0.582 and 0.583. It's more likely that your connection to the streaming server started having problems coincidentally at the same time that you updated.

As the maintainer of the code, I can tell you guys that there were no changes to the network code or anything. Perhaps a coincidence due to server issues around the same time it was released?

Yeah i was thinking the same thing, been hearing alot of people having issues with certain servers, their ISP, and the connection route to those servers.

I Can confirm, 0.583b has 99% frame drop, installed 0.582 works great, went back to 0.583b and it started dropping again. is this an issue with Obs communicating with the stream servers?

rtmp://live-lax.twitch.tv/app Just as a note, i have 100Mbps connection with a solid 5Mbps up, and have tested the software back to back, the one thing i did notice is if i load .583b before i load my game it looks ok, if i load it after the game is running it drops the frames

https://github.com/jp9000/OBS/commits/master - you can see the changes from 0.582 to 0.583 here -- there were literally zero changes to the network code in any of the commits from 0.582 to 0.583. There was a directshow fix, user interface fixes, and the strings were updated, that was it.

having same issue, i downloaded version 0.582 to see if it's a solution for me too. my frames are dropping to 1 and it used to be constant 30 before the download. do i have to reset every single one of my settings and added captures etc when i downgrade to 0.582?
