Question / Help Background Window not Refreshing

I stream DotA 2 on Twitch, but I also want people to know what music I'm listening to. So in addition to the dota, I have a window capture in the bottom left which shows the spotify song that is now playing. However, when I'm in the DotA client and I check up on my stream, I see that the stream still displays the title and artist from several songs ago, and won't refresh unless I actually open up my spotify window. I can't be constantly alt+tabbing in and out of DotA to refresh the title, so are there any fixes aside from getting a second monitor?

You have to run Dota2 in windowed or borderless mode, fullscreen won't work for what you want to do. If you're on Vista or Win7 then Aero also needs to be enabled.
