my avermedia live gamer portable records for 10 seconds then stops when i record on my laptop it works and i cant find ways to fix it on the internet please help

it just recoreds a black screen btw in the aver media rec central

So what you're saying is that it doesn't work in RECentral either?

no l cant try it in obs because recentral does not like the signal

making obs not pick up the stream engine

If it isn't working in RECentral then it's probably not going to work in OBS either. You should contact AVerMedia support.
