Question / Help Avermedia Live Gamer Portable problems with streaming.

Hello

I am currently using the Avermedia Live Gamer Portable to try and stream, before I did not really seem to have many errors, but now in both xSplit and OBS I am not receiving any video or sound. (Red Screen in OBS, also the Stream Engine source is not showing up!) and black screen in xSplit.

What I have tried;
New Avermedia Firmware
New Avermedia Drivers
New Graphics Card Drivers
Un-installed and re-installed Avermedia Stream Engine
Tried both the 32 and 64-bit OBS projects
Downloaded the new OBS project/software

Any help would be much, much appreciated as I am having serious issues and can't stream for my youtube subscribers.

Thank you for anyone who helps :)

If the issue is happening in both OBS and XSplit then it isn't an OBS issue and you should probably contact AVerMedia support for assistance instead.

You might try uninstalling the LGP's drivers/software and then manually removing any leftover AVerMedia folders and files on your system before reinstalling. In the past when users have had the same problem a normal uninstall/reinstall didn't work because some broken files were being left on the system after uninstalling. A normal Windows search for "avermedia" should turn up any remaining folders.

I have a current temporary solution that seems to work while I wait for the avermedia response.
*make sure any taskbar items like skype and (in my case) TightVNC will not boot at startup
*turn off your console
*unplug your avermedia from usb
*reboot computer
*after hearing the bootup welcome sound, plug in your avermedia
*turn on Live Gamer Portable Stream Engine
*turn on console
*wait until the video status reads something other than N/A
*minimize Live Gamer Portable Stream Engine
*Open 32-bit version of Open Broadcaster Software
*if you havent done it already make sure your video capture card that is added is looking at LGP Stream Engine
*after previewing the stream, you can stop previewing and turn on your widgets like Teeboard and ImRaisingSync
This is the only pattern that works for me.

I uninstalled everything, installed it again and I DID get video and sound for OBS and xSplit. However next day i tried again, with no luck.
