I have the live gamer HD and have no issues w/ 720p 60FPS, now if I didnt have to reboot my PC b4 every stream to avoid audio lag.

Finally some progress here!

I knew this was not just an isolated incident. Now to try and find a fix.

Is there anyway to actually contact AverMedia or someone who can shed some light on this. It basically makes the card completely redundant.

Have you tried this and been able to maintain a solid 60fps capture? I'm still seeing periodic dips to 30fps.

Okay so you guys are using the new RECentral package from http://gamerzone.avermedia.com/products/live_gamer_series/live_gamer_hd/download/en and having this FPS issue correct? Does rolling back to the last driver package from http://www.avermedia-usa.com/avertv/product/ProductDetail.aspx?Id=513&tab=APDriver fix the issue? You don't even need to install RECentral, the driver-only package should be sufficient.

(Cross-posting to a few different threads about this issue instead of merging them all into one)

Sapiens: As per my suggestion of rolling back drivers in my own original thread it only seems to 'partially' solve the issue.

The latest drivers limit 720p capture at 30fps.

Rolling back to previous drivers 'appears' to fix the problem but if you preview a game for long enough you will see 'stutters' in OBS where the capture temporarily and periodically limits itself again.

yso i called the company here is a link to there number if youre having trouble finding it https://gethuman.com/phone-number/AVerMedia-Technologies-Inc

they transferred me twice to someone who could help and i ended up talking to an asian man who hardly understood what i was saying and I dont believe he really understood what i meant by saying the newest driver is locked at 30 fps and thought my capture card was broken or something which I told him it wasnt cause when i reverted to the old driver the card worked perfectly, eventually he just told me to open a support ticket on their website so calling them might now get us anywhere really

I checked your stream and it looks like youre getting 720p 60 fps are you using the old driver?? I cant get 60 fps Lanczos filter with the old driver for the life of me unless i downscale obs or my live gamer HD significantly low

my obs is setup like this the base is 1920x1080 downscaled to 1280X720 bilinear 60 fps and for my capture card i set it to 1280X720 and when i hit preview/stream i get like 44 fps at the most keep in mind i have a Intel i7-4770 with the preset to veryfast

The LGHD has better scaling than the OBS filters, so if you plan to stream at a resolution like 1280x720 then set that as your base resolution, have the card output at 720p as well, and don't downscale via OBS at all.

i changed my video adapter to intel HD graphics 4600 i think that fixed my problem now i get 60 fps on lanczos settings with a downscale to 1280x720
question what is intel HD graphics 4600 nvm that only made my cpu performance go up to 100 percent this annoying
