Question / Help AverMedia Live Gamer HD freeze at lower resolution

Hi!

I recently got a Live Gamer HD capture card and it all works well to clone my current monitor. But when I try to play a game at a lower resolution than the native one (1920x1080), the last shown frame freezes. Like if I was tabbed out, the window gets all black and If I was in game, an chose another resolution it would just freeze the frame from in the game. This is really annoying to me, especially since I don't like playing CS:GO at the native resolution.

Has anyone got a fix for this? Please help!

Don't change the resolution you're sending to the capture card while it's in use.

It doesn't seem to matter really. The screen just turn black as soon as I open the game. :/

Right, because your video card is switching from your desktop resolution to the lower game resolution.

I sorta figured it out. What I did is to bind a key to start streaming. So first I open the game and then press the key to start the stream. It will tab me out to windows, but when I got back in to the game, it works. After that I can tab out and in as much as I want.
