Question / Help Avermedia LGP Stream engine not showing

So I've only recently had this problem and cannot figure out what could be wrong with it, but LGP's stream engine does not seem to be recognized in my list of video capture devices, all that appears is AverMedia C875 capture.

I've seen some tips but none seems to be working, has anyone else had this problem?

Stream Engine has only 32-bit DirectShow drivers so you'll need to add it in the 32-bit version of OBS. It won't be listed in the 64-bit version at all.

Stream Engine is really, really picky. If you're running Skype or any application that might hook onto the video driver, close that application. Skype in particular will make the Stream Engine not work at all. If it still doesn't work, try rebooting (and remember to have Skype not start up at boot).

There can only exist one instance of Stream Engine, and it will be removed from the list of available video devices once it attaches itself to one program. This also means that you cannot edit the video source settings of the LGP Stream Engine source once your stream is running unless you disable the source.

As DryRoastedLemo said; Stream Engine does not get along with OBS when certain other applications are opened. Skype is usually the #1 culprit as mentioned, so merely close skype before you open OBS after which point you can open Skype back up. However, Stream Engine has also vanished for me when I've had Chrome open before. So yeah, just close any applications you might have opened then try launching OBS and adding Stream Engine.
