Question / Help AverMedia HD DVR (NOT USB) video settings for OBS

Hello. I'm try to stream xbox 360 games with my avermedia hd dvr, but everytime I try to it says no signal even when I turn on the avermedia recording software. I tried messing with a few settings and then I got a red screen and won't let me select an output format. Any idea?
