Hello! I'll be brief and direct: my father bought an AverMedia GC550 (don't ask me why) to record his classes (he's an engineer) with a Sony Handycam of his.
The Handycam has an HDMI Out for which it goes in the the GC550's HDMI IN.
Making some sense out of it, I've done the basic protocol of using RECentral (AverMedia's streaming application) and everything works fine: it records Video & Audio, works all fine in all resolutions.
But when I tried using it with OBS, it failed: every configuration I used came out as "Signal out of Range".
I create the Video Capture Device, set it to "AverMedia GC550 Video Capture", Configure Video (set the input to HDMI), Crossbar alright (HDMI In alright), but still "Signal out Range (Please adjust your resolution to Supported Range)".
Any thoughts why it works fine in RECentral? Any way to set the baby up and running fine in OBS?
