Question / Help Avermedia C875 as a video recording device

Hi. I hope you don't mind me posting this here but it seemed sort of related to the theme of the forum. I have just bought an Avermedia C875 Portable to attach to my HD camcorder to record HD video. It is connected via an HDMI cable from the camera and I am using it in PC free mode recording onto a class 10 SD card. I bought it because the spec said that it recorded in 1080p. However, the quality of the recordings is terrible and I don’t know how to change the record settings in PC free mode as all the settings in RecCentral only appear to be for when it is recording on a PC. Any suggestions please?

So, you're not capturing or recording with OBS, just recording straight to the device?

You'd be better off asking on the AVerMedia forums, or checking the device's manual. The "theme" of this forum is using OBS, and this question has nothing to do with OBS.
