AV1 Recording not stopping | AMD RX 9070

I've recently upgraded to an AMD RX 9070 XT and since it has AV1 encoding capabilities, i wanted to use that.
unfortunately if i record more than 10 seconds of footage, it takes a very long time to finalize.

Installed packages:
- obs-studio
- obs-studio-plugin-browser
- obs-vaapi

I would appreciate your help.

after further testing, it seems that the error:

01:46:00.971: [obs-vaapi] Failed to parse stream
01:46:00.971: [obs-vaapi] Internal data stream error.
01:46:01.003: [obs-vaapi] Failed to parse stream

happens whenever i press the STOP RECORDING button

I never had AV1 compatible hardware, so there is a chance this encoder plugin is not working correctly (this is a 3rd party plugin). I would use the regular FFMPEG VAAPI encoders from OBS.
