Question / Help Audio Timestamp DROPPED FRAMES

Hi,

today installed Windows 8.1 x64 complete fresh.

After installing Drivers and OBS the Stream was starting to crash completely !!!

So i have a look in the Log Report and its full of this:

18:22:16: Audio timestamp for device 'Eingang (Blackmagic Audio)' was behind target timestamp by 350
18:22:17: Audio timestamp for device 'Eingang (Blackmagic Audio)' was behind target timestamp by 360
18:22:17: Audio timestamp for device 'Eingang (Blackmagic Audio)' was behind target timestamp by 370
18:22:18: Audio timestamp for device 'Eingang (Blackmagic Audio)' was behind target timestamp by 380
18:22:18: Audio timestamp for device 'Eingang (Blackmagic Audio)' was behind target timestamp by 390
18:22:18: Audio timestamp for device 'Eingang (Blackmagic Audio)' was behind target timestamp by 400

Tried everything increasing Scene Buffering and Device buffer itself. Still the Timestamp error, after few minutes it leads to Dropped/Lost Frames ...

What can this be ??? OBS MP is not doing this

Post a link to your log:

Start OBS 0.651 and push on Preview Stream:

Every second Audio timestamp was behind target timestamp by ...

How to solve this ?
your cap card is at 720@50fps, is that the same fps as your stream? log doesn't say...

I would try first enable aero and see if your cap card has updated drivers for you. lastly, remove and rebuild your capture source, and tone everything back to normal as in scene buffering maybe 700-1000.

This time with AERO enabled and buffer to 900 (scene and blackmagic device itself)

Again full of timestamp errors :(

does the same thing happen with x264?

Also, do you have any programs running that would modify the timer resolution? Just curious.

could you try and reseat the sound card and capture card? I'm genuinely wanting to fix this.

OK now i did the following:

Uninstall Realtek onboard Audio Drivers, go into BIOS and disabled onboard Audio.

Start the Stream with x264 Software Encoder and Quick Sync ...

Result again "behind target timestamp" :-(

What can i do now ?

Post that log please its the black magic device that is lagging, not onboard.

PROBLEM SOLVED :-)

Tried some other Drivers from Blackmagic Support Site.

Older 10.1.4 Drivers including Firmware Downgrade of the Device did the trick !

Stable Connection now to OBS without any errors.

Hope this helps others with Intensity Devices too ...
