Question / Help Audio Sync Issues

I'm having audio sync issues with my PS4 and Elgato using OBS.
The audio always appears after the gameplay and it is also cut off at random intervals.

I set scene buffering to 2000, global sync to 1500 and audio sync in Elgato to -1500 but that does not work for me.
I've tried messing with these values, lowering or increasing but to no avail.

If I put everything at default then the issue is still there (with audio bitrate 96/128) - so I googled for *audio sync* and found a guide that told me to change the settings to what I wrote above.

Also might be good to know, I never had this issue with the PS3 (6-months back though, can't test now), it's only the PS4.

Same issue occurs with Log 2.

Syncing audio to video time (WARNING: you should not be doing this if you are just having webcam desync, that's a separate issue)

I wouldn't use this. I would disable any auto sync stuff that way, the sync has less chance of changing and you have a higher chance of being able to sync. set global sync to 0 and elgato back to 0 as well and do short recordings. time exactly how off your audio is and if its still delayed past the video you'll need to set global to a negative value not a positive one.

Thank you!
Edit: the audio is 2,5-3 seconds after the gameplay and I can only set global audio to -700.
Edit2: found out that I had to increase scene buffering, i messed with these settings for an hour and I got nowhere, whatever I do, its always out of sync.

did you reset the elgato sync back to 0 as well? or maybe even try raising it to 1000 ofset for the elgato. this will buffer the video for 1 second.
