Hi,

Ive streamed for some time now and I get audio stuttering and cant seem to find what is causing it.

The PC spec should be sufficent as that of the conexion to stream.

  • Intel Core i7 - 4790K 4 GHz
  • Gtx 970
  • 8 GB DDR3 Memory
  • SSD 250 GB + HDD 2 TB
  • 75/75 mbs conexion
The webcam is a Logitech C90.

Everything is fine but after some random amount of time, and what seems to be a random event the whole sound over the stream stutters.

Will try and upload a log with the exact time frame in which it happens.

Ive tried moving the usbs around, leaving only the webcam as the only usb 2 or 3 device conected.
Updated windows.
Updated drivers.
Made sure no power saving is activated.

EDIT: Still no response or help and it still happens all the time.

Bump for halp :(
you are having a few issues that could be the cause of this, but first, a question.
It is just your mic audio, or game audio, or both that are stuttering?

Now then, some of these issues you might not think are related, but just give them a try and lets see the results

1. enable aero and use either game capture or window capture. monitor capture even with aero disable has issues.
2. set your webcam and often used sources (sometimes even commonly used overlays, bitmaps, scrolling text) as globlal sources, this will help with scene changes
3. your log says over time, your USB wireless headphones are falling behind audio time stamps, you could try and raise scene buffering to maybe 1000ms
4. If you HAVE to use monitor capture, use it in a scene by itself and not with a bunch of overlays etc. or upgrade to windows 8.1 (which has better capabilites for monitor capture). There is also something that is just for windows 7 in OBS that allows your monitor to be selected from game capture. See here: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/fast-monitor-capture-with-aero-enabled-on-windows-vista-7.58/
5. Set your encoding buffer to the same as your bitrate (i.e. 3000)
