Bug Report Audio skips when capturing it directly from the "Video Capture Device" since I updated past .6b

Hey, as the title says, I've been having a huge audio issue. This issue is a particularly strange issue, as this issue never started happening when I was using v .59. I remember I updated obs to .6 a few months ago and the same issue happened so I downgraded it. I recently updated it again to see if the issue would have been fixed but the audio still skips. It seems to fix itself after a couple hours of streaming but that's too long to be expected to wait for. My capture device is Dazzle DVC 100 and the footage is captured from AmaRec TV 2.10b.

Ah I *think* I see what's going on here, could you give a log file of this as well? It's either the scene buffering time in advanced being lower than 700, or it's a system timing issue.

If the scene buffering time in advanced is too low it can cut off audio segments repeatedly like that.

If the system timing is off, it can also make a similar effect like that, a way to potentially fix it in many cases (though probably not all) is to set your windows to run on HPET timing.
1.) Go in to your bios, look for 'HPET' or 'High precision event timers' setting and enable it
2.) Open a command prompt as administrator in windows, and type:
bcdedit /set useplatformclock true
3.) Restart your computer.

I don't know if either of those will help for 100% sure though unfortunately, but I'd like to at least try it.

It turned out my scene buffering time was set to 400 for whatever reason, setting it to 700 seemed to do the trick, thanks a bunch!

That used to be the old default time. If you've had OBS installed for like, over a year and never changed that setting the old default value would have just carried over.
