Question / Help Audio skipping on stream only

Hello.

I am having a very confusing problem and I have tried several things to fix it but nothing has worked. I wonder if anyone could please give me any tips on how to fix it?

When I am streaming from my Xbox 360 to YouTube via my Blackmagic capture card and OBS I am hearing a constant unpleasant audio skipping on the stream. The sound is fine for me locally via HDMI passthrough, but the stream to YouTube is distorted.

Here is an example of the problem: https://youtu.be/fz0F0d8Qe9M?t=25m30s

When I switch modes and stream from a video camera at 1080i50 sound appears to be ok, but xbox 720 59.94 causes this issue every time. I've tried changing audio quality settings, audio format, deinterlacing modes and several other things but nothing fixes it.

I'm using an Xbox 360, Blackmagic UltraStudio Pro, Dell XPS laptop and OBS to YouTube via a LAN connection.

Any ideas?

Here is my log file (also attached): https://gist.github.com/65c552b038462ab42fa7

Thank you warmly in advance,

I have been trying to stream today with my Xbox 360 for the first time, andI am having this exact same issue. I am using an elgato and using hdmi, when recording in the elgato software everything is fine, but when recording in obs it has this exact same audio stuttering. I haven't found a single setting yet that makes it stop. Also I haven't had this issue when recording with the Wii-U so it may be something between the Xbox and OBS?

Edit: It actually is happening with my Wii-U as well, I will try to post my log in the other thread you are in that seems to have more attention on this https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/audio-stuttering.25771/page-2

This started for me today as well on the Xbox One and yesterday it was running just fine. Was there an update to Elgato or OBS that is causing this issue?
