Hi there, So this is my firstime on the forums. I fairly recently started using OBS. I have been trying to figure out the solution myself but I realized its time to ask for help since its been a few days and I cant get this 1.

So my input audio through my mic comes through. My in game however does not. The only way it does is if it echos loud enough that my mic picks it up. I have my log file here, I am quite sure its the right 1 and I hope it provides any information helpful to fixing the problem. To sum I have my speakers plus my Logitech headset. I have only 1 mic in use no others are connected. The mic is built into the headset. I remember it working like probably a week or two ago fine and then i noticed that in game audio not being caught. Any1 experienced this before? Any and all helpful ideas are apreciated!!!!

So basically you are trying to capture both your external speakers and your headset? This is actually not an entirely uncommon issue, and a design flaw with OBS that I didn't forsee when making it, which will be fixed with later versions.

If you need to capture your external speakers as well as your headset, I would recommend for the time being getting this: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2579 -- then add it as a source, and set it to "What you hear" or "stereo mix", whichever one is available.

If that's not what you were meaning, please let me know

So I am having the issue that you are describing Jim. I am attempting to capture a game, and am getting the sound and everything working. However I am also attempting to use Ventrilo with some buddies at the same time, and I would like it all to get captured at once. I have issues with being kind of picky about how my sound works, and dislike having their talking coming through the speakers at the same time as the in game audio. Lots of screaming and shenanigans and such make it hard to adjust everything to be perfect/audible out of the same output. So I am trying to set up to capture my headset input/output from Ventrilo, and the ingame output that comes through my speakers.
I have only really been using OBS off and on for a few months so far, but being able to do this will mean I can use it every time we sit down and play.

Yea, I know. As I said this will definitely be added in future versions. In the mean time you should use the plugin. Really sorry about that trouble.
