Hey, I first attempted to stream 3 or so years ago and I kept hearing audio popping whenever I started streaming, very similar to the problem described in this video = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8l8BvlAQxk0
However, I have never used a camera nor do I own a webcam to use in OBS, and recently I attempted to record gameplay using OBS, and the same popping noise which only I can hear (it does not come up in the recordings) is there again.
I have tried almost every setting on OBS, I lowered bitrates, resolutions, ticked boxes, unticked boxes, lowered the fps to as low as 29, lowered and increased the audio bitrate, disabled my microphone (Blue Snowball Ice), changed USB ports on my PC for my headphones (Plantronics GameCom 788), changed the x264 CPU Preset to all available options, I even downloaded OBS Studio and the problem persisted only for some reason the popping was audible on the recordings as well.
The quality of the videos I can record at 1080p 60fps is very good, but the popping sound makes it impossible, I cannot stress how annoying and headache inducing the sound is to hear.
I do not know what to do at all to fix this, and if anyone has any idea at all which could help, no matter how silly it may be, please tell me and I will try it.
Thanks.
