Question / Help Audio, no video

Yo

When I start streaming in my desktop it looks fine nothing wrong... Then when I join the game Medal of honor allied assault spearhead(i know its old, but several people have streamed it) the video becomes grey. you can hear the game and people on teamspeak, that happens not only with spearhead but with allied assault aswell. In cod4 it starts fine but it crashes when it loads the map or when i have to choose a weapon, and the picture won't change from there... If u need me to post my log or smth lemme know.

HELP!

Thanks, that streamed the game. But now when im in game when I choose the weapon the Image freezes. Only way to change image is to open console or open menu, and then i won't be able to run or move, obviously

I don't quite know. What game specifically? I haven't heard of such an issue with cod games.

With Call of Duty 4 and Medal of Honor Allied Assault Spearhead (2002). I asked other people that streamed, they also have no idea what it could be and said that it didn't happen to them aswell. If you have xfire or some other way to contact, I could stream and you would be able to watch

Show me a vod. You don't mean while alt-tabbed do you? You can't capture a game while alt-tabbed out of it.

What is vod? The stream only works alt-tabbed(alt+enter?) like a small window and not full screen. I want to stream full screen

VOD stands for Video On Demand and refers to an online recording. Jim's asking you to link an example video.

Also please post an updated log showing the results after you made the changes that have been suggested so far, like switching from monitor capture to game capture.

I have 2 different streams using OBS and uploaded them to Twitch.tv, hope that is ok.

Then a second stream = http://www.twitch.tv/watsonbadass/b/506784451 which im playing game capture and full screen even though i have those black bars in the right side and bottom(no idea why). As u can see u can hear perfectly but the picture freezes untill i press Menu, Team menu, Weapon menu, chat or console. With alt+enter is exactly the same.

Could just be an issue with that particular game for game capture. Depends on how they're handling their menu. Probably not much I can do for that particular game.

It's not just about this game. It's with every game I tried, which are this one, Call of duty, allied assault (older version of spearhead), and some snooker game.

Not sure what's going on here. I can tell you that at least the more recent call of duty games normally run fine. Not sure how much I can help, because I've just never really seen anything like it.
