Question / Help Audio lag in 'Video Capture Device' Mode

I have a Micomsoft XCAPTURE-1 USB3 capture device and in that past have used AmaRec for my program of choice but thought id give OBS ago by using the 'Video Capture Device' mode but have noticed that when listening to the game capture through my PC there is a very noticeable delay in the audio when compared to the sound from my TV than the sound coming from my PC speaker. I never get this audio delay when using AmaRec so just wondered why im getting it through the OBS software?

There are a number of options. One, you can try "use buffering" (at 0), or you can just set a audio sync offset in the device properties (if it's just the audio that's off)

Where this 'use Buffering' option you talk off?

Yeah its just the audio, it lags almost a second behind, yet AmaRec its in sync with the audio coming from my TV

It's probably outputting its audio in large bursts, original windows version of OBS doesn't handle that very well still due to its audio subsystem. We have it solved in the multiplatform version but it's still somewhat far away.
