so i had white noise issues in my game while streaming. i got it 80% better when adding filters such as noise gate, noise suppression. and it got rid of the white noise. but you can hear a lil bit of a hmm how i would describe it is that it sounds a lil bit like i'm in a bathroom. it's not bad tho. like i said it is 80% there. i looked at many utube videos that got me to this point. i was thinking i needed a audio interface, but i have a friend who's got a crystal clear voice and doesn't have a audio interface. i have a blue yetti and there are many people who have a crystal clear voice as well. looked into maybe needing a better mic but it wasn't the case. i have it facing the right way now and learned many tips about improving the mic. as i've stated i'm 80% there, was just wondering about anything i should maybe add to improve it some more. maybe some more filters or something. my noise gate is close threshold -47 db and open threshold is -40 my attack time is 25 ms hold time 200 ms and release time is 150 and my noise suppression is at -60 suppression level. any tips would help. thanks!

ok i set my desktop audio to monitor off and my capture card to monitor and mute output. i'll let u know about the results. i hope it works. is there any filters u use that helps u? ok what i've found out from just hitting record and not streaming it is that in the advance audio settings i can only hear the sound back from the recording with monitoring off. i can't use the other 2 options that they have and still hear the sound on the playback after the recording.

That sounds like you need to turn off device exclusivity in the Windows control panel for your default device-- but also that you have the monitor set to be your default device, which it shouldn't be. If you don't have any other options, install Voicemeeter and use a virtual device as your default output, and use Voicemeeter to control which ones you hear on your hardware device.

what i found out is that it's just the mic. i pulled out the mic from my hyper cloud 2 and plugged it in and B00M, hissing gone. i don't wanna give up on the yetti so i found a video that i'm gonna try. it's buying a powered usb port. what they are saying is that the noise is being generated from being plugged straight into the pc. so until i order it. hyper cloud mic it is. hope it works cuz i spent 120 on the mic, 100 on the hypercloud. but ah well. thanks!
