Question / Help Audio is pitched up when streaming

Hi guys.
Does anyone have a guide for optimal settings for audio output to stream on fb live. I’m running my DJ controller into my audio interface and I’m finding when I stream on both Facebook live and twitch that my audio is choppy and pitched up. Any ideas what’s causing this?

Audio and video? I'm brand new to this as well but configured some parameters in my settings and it fixed the same issue.

Khz important I found out and a helpful tool I used was to create a "group" on FB and I'm the only member so gives an opportunity to review what's being broadcasted. Are you using default or "stream Keys". Stream Keys ultimately I think is what solved my issue. Gotta copy from FB and paste in OBS.

The suggestion wasn't to change your sample rate, it was to make sure that all your audio devices and sources, as well as OBS itself, are set to the same rate.

Are they?

OBS has its own setting in the Settings > Audio menu.

The sample rate for audio devices in MacOS is set in Audio MIDI Setup.app which is in the Utilities folder.

Thanks for the boost on this one... I was pretty sure he was using 44.1k for his DAW (I’m old school and used 44.1k too, but reluctantly moved everything to 48k so I could work with video more and more... esp w/all the drift and pitch weirdness!)!!! You ROCK!!! ~BK
