No support? This "support" page is fucking amazing brilliant everyone brilliant
Everyone on this support page is volunteer so I would honestly be thankful when you get help. free software free support, well not free, it takes up a couple of hours a day of just mine, and I don't even develop like some people on here. I'm just saying,

does the same problem happen in the Elgato software? If so, it could be a cable issue, try reversing ends on the HDMI in a couple of places where you can and see if that helps. Maybe switch to a known good cable as well. HDMI cables can be finicky sometimes

I know right im amazingly ungrateful ill give that a go though and see what happens. I dont use the new elgato software because the new software takes about 10 minutes to process a video in the worst quality. Not worth it

I see. so that might be the issue with the AV sync, but they broke something else.

Darn nothings working i emailed elgato support theres no way theres something wrong with the software because its worked fine before with no changes

First of all, OBS has no official support.

Everyone here is a volunteer, and we all do our best to help out those who do need help.

Second, does only game audio skip or voice audio as well.

In your log the Astro mixamp timestamp was behind quite a bit.

Try this:

Plug the Game Capture HD as FAR AWAY as possible from any other USB source.
So if you plug it into the back of your PC, plug it into a USB 2.0 slot, and make sure nothing is connected to the slot next to it.
Next, move all webcams, mice, keyboards as far away as possible and to front USB ports.

Let me know if this helps. Also, please post another log should you do a test stream.

I do have the elgato plugged in at the front of my computer and everything else is in the back. I'm going off of local recordings no streaming and it has worked fine and perfect before

Here is another log file from me plugging the USB into the second port in the front on my computer

Wow, ok.

Plug the Game Capture device into the back of your computer.

Its a high bandwidth and high power device. Plug it into a black open USB 2.0 port on the back of your PC.

Let us know how it goes.

The weird thing is, is after i tried it this time it did the same exact thing, everything was out of sync and the audio skipped and after a couple clips loaded out it worked perfectly in sync with no audio skips but the problem is, it has done that before at random times and usually the audio would go back to broken mode. Here is a log from one of the USB ports in the back

This next USB test the audio sounded fine but was delayed and i took screenshots of all my audio settings which you can probably see in the log but here they are followed by the log
