OBS seems capable of doing what I need: record contents of various windows, the webcam, and speech. I record to a file, no attempt at streaming.
Unfortunately, the sound is 6 seconds or so behind the video, which is useless. In the sound setup, I can specify a negative delay, but no more than -950ms. Then I have 5 seconds delay instead of 6.
At first, I thought sound didn't work at all, I used 2-3 second tests. Then I noticed that one recording had something I said in the previous attempt. So I recorded myself counting to 10. Then I watched the video, and found the audio was 6 seconds behind the video.
I wonder what I do wrong to get such a delay.
