I have a fear it's something to do with the Windows 10 Upgrade as it was fine before I did that.
Anyway, the problem is the second I press "start recording" or even "preview stream" my audio 'freezes' for lack of a better word. Video is absolutely fine, but the volume bars freeze on OBS and in Audition where I process my audio to remove background noise and what not. It does this with all microphone inputs too so it's not an issue with the virtual cable. A further quirk is if I try to use a YouTube video for audio, which comes in under the game audio side, it crashes the YouTube video too (i.e. stops playing with a black screen and a buffering logo). I can close the Audition file and re-open and it works fine again but as soon as I press record/preview all audio connections just stop.
Incidentally, I did download the Multiplat version after this arose and that works fine, but I need the Windows one because Multiplat doesn't have screen area capabilities yet.

EDIT: Just attempted to preview whilst a YT vid was playing in the background and as soon as I pressed preview, it killed the audio but the video kept playing this time. I had to restart the video to get sound back.
