Question / Help Audio for dual pc stream

Hey i got 2 pcs one i game on and one pc to stream with

I got an hdmi cable going from my gpu on the first pc to the avermedia live gamer hd card on my streaming pc

How can i get audio from my first pc to the second one?

I tried a 3.5 mm splitter to connect the two pc's but that causes static in my headset

Is it all connected through hdmi? Because the audio goes over HDMI too.

Use a program called Voice Meeter. http://vb-audio.pagesperso-orange.fr/Voicemeeter/

Set your Windows audio to go to the voice Meeter virtual output.

Then in the voice meeter program, set A1 to your headphones, and A2 to your HDMI audio out.

@LtRoyalShrimp any reason why you wouldn't just use Stereo Mix/What U Hear if those are already available? Though the third-party software sounds useful when that isn't the case.

Stereo mix works as well, but I have found and afaik it only works with analog headphones. USB headphones cannot use the stereo mix trick.

I guess I can try this but I'm not sure if it will work

Mine isn't a USB headphone. When I do the stereo mix trick, for some reason my mic isn't recognized in counter-strike or in communication programs like teamspeak or mumble. It's like my MIC doesn't even exist...

@Hazardous Are you changing Stereo Mix to your system default recording device? Don't do that. Leave your mic as the default. Open the Stereo Mix properties, go to the Listen tab, enable the option and point it at the playback device for your capture card.

I do exactly that. I leave the microphone as the default recording device then I open the Stereo Mix properties and enable the listening to my capture card's audio.
