Audio falls out of sync over time - Mac Pro 2019 192GB RAM 16 core 3,2GHZ

Hi guys,

I'm using a very beefy Mac Pro 2019 with 192GB RAM, 16core 3,2GHZ CPU and a W5700X GPU. I stream with the following settings:

I also measured an Audio Offset delay of +100ms, which I applied with a "clap test".

At the start of my stream, everything is in perfect sync. However, after one hour of streaming, usually at 30-40 minutes the Audio falls visibly out of sync.Any theories what could cause this? I checked the log for mention of a safety buffer that might have been added somewhere to prevent dropouts (though unlikely with a machine specced out like mine), but couldn't find anything. The log file is attached. Any pointers would be very much appreciated, as this issue makes my streams look a bit unprofessional...Thanks so much for your time, really appreciate it.

Your Mac has definitely enough power, so that's nearly impossible that it's causing the problem and it wouldn't make sense because then from the beginning the audio would be out of sync. So I think maybe the internet is causing the problem? I always ask the same but core for streaming is your internet performance. So I would definitely check that if everything is working alright. A little interference can out sync your stream :/

Hi Micktech, thanks for your reply - internet performance being the culprit is unlikely, since I have a wired FTTH direct glass fiber connection here in my home with 400Mbit symmetrical up- and downstream. I had 0 dropped frames reported in OBS for the entirety of the stream.

However, I found out in the meantime that my camera switcher (ATEM Mini by Blackmagic) could have caused this. I didn't have it on the latest version and the changelog for v8.5 mentioned "A/V sync issue fixes". Fingers crossed. Thanks again!
