Question / Help Audio echoing 15 minutes into recording/stream

Hi guys,

This is kind of a weird problem, but around 15 minutes into recording or streaming my OBS software immediately starts to echo my voice recording. It doesn't happen at exactly the same time each time, but somewhere between 14 and 17 minutes it'll happen without fail.

Sometimes it'll happen for the rest of the recording, other times it very abruptly stops echoing maybe 10 or more minutes before the end.

I've read other threads about echoing, but none that address it happening so far into recording, and for no apparent reason? I've checked all settings, and everything is correct, I'm also not accidentally hitting any switches or turning anything on that I shouldn't - it's literally just happening by itself!

Can anyone help?

I think I may have corrected it. I had two audio inputs, and I disabled the unused one and all seems okay so far.

This is weird, because I'd assigned the program to specifically use the correct one, but it still picked up the additional mic and used it (and 15 minutes in, oddly). I've not tried a longer video yet, but I'll come back and update once I can verify.
