Audio didn't record (I'm not sure)

I just finished an hour and a half recording for a podcast and I realized it had not saved my mic audio but it did save the other people who were in the call with me. I was confused because I had tested it before the recording and my audio was perfectly fine and I hadn't messed with any settings. I also tested it again after I found out it had not worked and it was completely fine. I would really like to know what I did wrong and if there is a way to get the audio (I doubt it but I can hope).

Make sure you don't configure any audio device as "default", but instead give the device name explicitly. If you plug in/out or switch on/off audio devices like headphones, Windows might change the default audio device, so OBS gets confused. Places to look are Settings->Audio and every audio source you might have added in some individual scene.
Additionally, make sure you don't have some audio device configured twice (for example in Settings->Audio as well in the scene as audio source). Configure one device either as global device in Settings->Audio or in the scene, but not in both.
