Hey,

knows anybody how to fix this?

If you do not have an audio playback device (such as a sound card, integrated or dedicated, or a pair of USB headphones that act as a separate audio playback device), you will not be able to use OBS.

If you do have a sound card and you're still getting this error, something else might be wrong, and we're going to need further details on exactly what kind of environment you're trying to run OBS in.

I have a soundcard :)

This is my need streaming PC:

i5 2500
Asus Maximus IV GENE-Z
8GB Ram
and Broadcaster HD

The OS is fresh installed. Win 7 Home Premium

Okay, that's weird. Have you tried both the 32 and 64-bit versions of OBS? I've not yet heard of any sound cards that don't have 64-bit compatible drivers, but who knows.

Did it work at all at some point on this computer? I tried disabling all the audio devices on my computer, but I still couldn't replicate that error. Can you please post a log? Read this post if you don't know how/where to find your logs: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7144

How odd, I've never seen that before. I'd need to have you come into chat some time to debug the problem.
