So I have been trying to record Binding of Isaac to my computer for later upload to youtube. And I am having some issues with the audio.

It skips and sounds really bad when recording the game, I have tried running Super Meat Boy as well and that I could record in 1080p60fps but BoI I can´t even run 720p30fps for the audio being messed up.

Computer specs are :

i7 2600k @4.3 GHz
16GB ram
gtx 970

Audio is recorded using a Blue Snowball.. Have included the latest logfile where I had everything lowered and still the audio skips/cuts out.

Any help would be nice.

Edit: Found someone else with same issue, gonna try increase "Scene buffering time" if I can find it and check back if it still messes up..

Edit 2: How high is max? I have increased it from 700 to 1000 and still the audio sounds bad but now the logfile says "Audio timestamp for device 'Microphone (Blue Snowball)' was behind target timestamp by 59514013"

I would try and see if you can change USB ports and/or update your chipset drivers that are on your motherboard's website.

scene buffering should be what fixes it, but if for some reason that USB port isn't giving the proper bandwidth that that could be the issue. the reason I say chipset drivers is because stock drivers dont always set the port to full speed.

So odd this, I have changed usb around a few times but still there is an issue as soon as I record Binding of Isaac.. I can record Super Meat Boy just fine with no audio issues what so ever but BoI keeps messing up the sound.. Starts to wonder if it´s the game that is messing things up or not..

Yay, figured it out finally.. It wasn´t obs that was messing up, it was the game. Apperently when you use both a usb controller and usb mic/audio source it messes things up.

The fix is to edit an options.ini file in C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\Binding of Isaac Rebirth called ControllerHotplug, Standard it is set at 1 and if you put it to 0 it should work..

Thx for the help and suggestions anyways
