Question / Help Audio Crackling - Using Adobe Audition

Hey guys and gals,

Here is my problem: When I stream/ record, the microphone that I have connected for commentary, makes an abundant amount of crackling... A LOT. It is extremely noticeable. Now, here is the interesting part:

1) I am using Adobe Audition to enhance my audio. I have recorded in Audacity to rule out the possibility of any errors in Adobe Audition and Virtual Audio cable.

Only in OBS, there are crackling noises. Assistance would be appreciated. =)

This is usually due to interference of some sort on certain types of motherboards when multiple devices are active at once. Often the best solution is to try plugging the mic into a different port, or turning down settings in OBS to reduce interference (especially webcam resolution and such, but you don't have a webcam in this case)
