Question / Help Audio Config w/ Mixer Help

Hey, I'm learning that Audio gives me a headache. First here's my set up and equipment.
I have the xlr mic input to the mixer. Main out on Mixer going to PC Line IN rear / and Rear Out of PC going back to a Line In on Mixer. Then just headphones out and Speakers going out of Ctrl Room out of Mixer.

- -Everything seems to be fine and working with OBS. But how can I set it up so that when I'm in a Skype call, they only hear my mic and not everything going through the mixer? I want to hear everything and I want OBS to hear everything including the skype call. I just want the skype caller to only hear my mic.--

And wouldn't using an FX Send take away game audio and any other audio coming from my pc? And is there a better way to set this up?

You need to separate your audio sources one way or the other. You can't just strip away some audio of your liking on a single down mix like the one sent through the line out on you sound card.

One way of doing it is to get multiple sound cards and use one for game audio, one for VOIP, one for music etc etc and connect each sound card/source to a separate channel on the mixer. This goes for inputs AND outputs.
In your skype example you need to specify an audio device that only "plays" your mic (example: taps from a post fader FX loop or output from a subgroup, NOT the main mix). as the input device in Skype. Same goes for any VOIP program.

With some both on-board and external sound cards you can separate the different output sections (for instance front/back) and use them as different outputs in Windows saving you some money on buying multiple cards.
Getting a USB-connected mixer eliminates the need for an extra line in device so that's one option too.

Or, since this is a single PC setup, get a mic pre-amp and use a software mixer like VoiceMeeter and use some VACs (and if u want hardware controls, get a MIDI controller).
