Question / Help Audio changed overnight?

Hey guys,

Having an issue with my audio setup.

I have two AT2020 hooked into a scarlett 2i2 mixer. Everything was perfect and we sounded great, until one day the next stream, my father all of the sudden sounded distant and hollow. Linked below is the examples. The first one is them working properly, the next link is an example of the current sound quality that is just not the same.

Note this only affects his mic, not mine.

Any ideas? I didn't change any settings.

Nvm guys, my father didn't realize there was a front and back to these mics and he fiddled with it without me knowing LOL.
