Why won't OBS pick up the sound from Ableton when I select ASIO as my audio driver? I am using am using the Audio Application plugin in OBS. It was capturing the sound direct from the saw when I was using WAVE and DX drivers, but they only worked half of the time and otherwise created horrible noise in all recordings, even in Ableton. When I switched to ASIO the sound improved in Ableton but now the OBS Audio Application is not getting any sound. Why?

For Windows, only native WASAPI programming interface supported in OBS.
ASIO is completely different thing. It may be used in OBS via some plugins (like: https://github.com/Andersama/obs-asio , anyway read for issues before using this plugin).

Cool, glad you found it! I took a quick look, that feature shouldn't be enabled when using OBS anyway. Anti-Lag, Frame Generation, Super Resolution, ect, sounds like trouble....
