Hello.

I have been having trouble getting game sound and game chat while streaming console(XBOX 360). I have my Astro Mixamp usb conected to my computer and the toslink optical cable to my xbox 360. I don't have any audio connections in or out of my avermedia, just hdmi. I can't seem to figure out what my audio settings should be in obs or if i need to change or add more connections.

Any Ideas?

When you configure your Avermedia in OBS you are going to want to select "Use device audio", and select your Astro Mixamp for the Mic in audio settings. Since you are connecting via USB, you will need to change the sound preferences in the 360 dashboard under "Voice" to speakers and headset in order for your stream to hear people in your party. Do you have the 2013 Mixamp Pro? If so, you should use the stream port to connect to your mic line in on your PC. The sound quality is much better and everything that you hear in your headset is heard through your stream.

I have the original astro mixamp. I'll try using the settings you mentioned and see what that does.

Hello, I am having somewhat the same issue but I am using the Happauge HD PVR2 capture card (connected USB) and XB1. I do have the mix amp pro and when connecting my turtle beach headset to the mix amp im able to get everything to my stream including party chat but I am now getting an echo. I hear the real time game sound, as well as party chat, but im also hearing it doubled 3 seconds later (what my capture card or OBS is picking up). If I turn that volume down on my PC it mutes the game volume to my stream...Any help on this?
