Are there any limitations to the anti-cheat compatibility hook, or is there any reason it's optional, & not just the one & only default way of hooking? whether performance wise, or compatibility (doesn't work with some things??) wise?
I don't think there's any downside anymore. We used to use another method, then rolled out that method as an option initially, then eventually enabled it by default because it seemed fine. Probably a redundant option at this point.
