Anyone know how to make my recordings look good?

my recordings look like absolute dookie, and they shouldn't, I have a fairly powerful PC. I don't stream very much at all, I just want to use this to record some yt videos but I cannot even work on anything until I make my recordings not look abysmal.

Is there a reason to use the Custom settings? Like the warning says, it gives you all the rope you need to hang yourself. Beat the Standard settings to death before you try that.

Also, a recording would be good, of the best you can get with the standard settings, and a screenshot of those standard settings. Different problems have different effects.
