Question / Help (Answered) Capture Card Streaming

Please excuse the generic title.

I've searched around on Google, but can't seem to find an answer to my question.
Can OBS stream a PCIe capture card? My desk doesn't have any room for an outside-PC capture card (unless said card is the size of an iPhone 5), plus I like PCIe transfer rates more than USB transfer rates (even if it's not needed, I like the extra wiggle room).

Thanks in advance! Sorry if this is a noob question.

Yes, OBS uses capture cards via its "video capture device" source.

PCIE capture cards are great (much better than USB) for streaming consoles or a game PC, but the only advantage is if you have a dedicated streaming/recording PC. the capture card only acts as a second cloned PC monitor that will bring the audio and video from a game PC or console to a stream PC. the stream PC will then do the encoding.

the stream PC is where you would have the capture card and an hdmi cable would go to the gaming PC as stated before.
