Question / Help Another Black Screen: Tried All Suggestions

Hi:

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad W540 laptop. It does have a dual graphics. I only see one adapter in the OBS Video settings. It's Windows 8.1.

I have disabled DPI scaling on the OBS App. I have set the NVidia card to run OBS on the High Performance card. I also right-click OBS and "Run with graphics processor" and choose the high performance card.

In all cases, any attempt to capture or preview the monitor is just black. My log file was uploaded:

Monitor capture doesn't work well on laptops. Try window / game capture.

I have tried everything; and I can't get it to work. It's going to be a problem for me since I am trying to capture a presentation, with multiple windows and applications.

Thanks for the help: I would love to hear any other suggestions or changes...
