Question / Help Angry streamer needs help with everything!

Hi!

I writing this very angry and upset and Im sorry for that. And some of it isnt maybe your fault but well, Ill write everything here and maybe you can help me with everything around it too.
But this is AMAZING, and I say it again, AMAZING!

I bought a new processor and motherboard and RAM because I wanted to stream with good quality. Now when I have installed everything right (I hope) it sure as hell is NOT better then my setup before. Its lagging in stream with the same f*cking settings I was going with before.

And I just tried to stream Black ops 2, that is f*cking hardest I have done. Its lagging penis both for me and the stream! What am I doing wrong?

You aren't lagging or dropping any frames. What exactly is lagging? FPS in game? Ping in game? Can you go back to just veryfast and see if the issue still persists?

When Im streaming mw3, no I am not lagging. Just the sound but thats probably some freaking driver somewhere but the stream is lagging very much.

I could try that yes.

Whats the Speed ( http://www.speedtest.net ) your connection can manage? Which Twitch node is closest to you and did you select it maybe check with JTVPing from Rich which normally tells you which is the best Server from a Ping standpoint.

Well, when I play mw3 I may have some small lag sometimes.
But when I stream black ops 2 its crazy laggy. And I have lowered the graphics.

But isnt the regular ones very "overheated"?
For example all of the eu is very low ping for me, but arent there alot of people on them?

But what exactly causes the lag? Do you get low FPS when streaming ingame? Does your Ping spike when streaming?

Its the FPS when I play black ops 2, the stream is lagging shit to.
For mw3 its only lagging in stream, not in game for me.

When only the Stream laggs the problem is mostly your speed to twitch. Most of the time that is resolved by switching the streaming node of Twitch. As I said before use JTVPing.

now I have frankfurt, thats the best for me according to JTVping.

As long as the VOD is fine, the stream itself was fine aswell. Watching the stream while encoding and playing almost always causes Flashplayer do derp and make it laggy and spiky.

Frankfurt has a history of being the worst node twitch has in EU, so if you encounter framedrops you might want to change it to another server again. I usually use London Secondary, which works out perfectly fine.

Fast preset with a high motion game like Black Ops 2 is very stressful on the encoder. For FPS games you really shouldn't be changing the preset unless you are using a 2PC setup, with one PC dedicated to just streaming.

well maybe use a laptop to check the stream ohh and Frankfurt might have a good ping but even though the server is just a fucking nightmare and fuck's up at prime time regulary.. Amsterdam/London seems much more stable. and have slightly weaker ping times.
