I am trying to encode with a radeon rx580. My setup is two screens one via HDMI the other via VGA to HDMI adapter. No matter what plugins I install ( amf) no matter what settings I choose ( h265, h264, hevc, avc) it just keeps crushing when I try to stream or record, no difference. I am not familiar with forum help so if you need some more info plz ask. Here is the log from the last crush. Any ideas how to fix this?

System info

Gigabyte z170x gaming 5 rev 1.0
intel i5 6500
amd rx580
corsair vengeance 16gb (2x8) running at 2133

You're going to need to update your intel GPU drivers from the intel website AND your radeon drivers from the AMD site.

The best drivers are already installed it says on intel and on AMD I already have installed and tried the last and the previous drivers. By the way, the intel graphics don't do anything both monitors are on rx580. What now?

Did you manually install the AMF plugin? The current OBS already comes with that plugin integrated. No need to do any additional install. If you did install that plugin manually, you installed an older and probably incompatible version. Completely remove that plugin and OBS to get rid of all obsolete files. Then reinstall OBS to get a clean installation.

You're still crashing in the same driver stack, both intel and AMD drivers are in the stack.

It crashed before and after the installation. No difference. I installed two versions of AMF and nothing. Now I uninstalled everything and installed OBS studio 22.0.2 again. An the same happens. woops OBS has crashed

If you search with Google, there are numerous crash reports in igdrclneo64.dll in many applications. Even the address (xxxxxxx20819) is the same, regardless of the application. They are all resolved after removing or updating the Intel GPU driver. As far as I see it, most of them removed the driver, then rebooted, and either did nothing or install the newest download from the Intel website. Some also uninstalled the driver of the external GPU (in most cases Nvidia, in your case AMD).

In case you didn't exactly follow the directions in the clean GPU driver installation posted by Harold, I recommend you repeat the steps. You have to do it twice: First do a clean re-installation of the Intel driver, then do a clean re-installation of the AMD driver.

You were right, I searched and I found that there was a new driver that my system didn't want to be installed 6286 version of intel graphics for my 530 intel graphics engine. So I just installed it manually. Though I don't know what is the problem with intel installer, it wont let you install the driver by .exe . So How do I close the issue? P.S. It would be a risk for a noob to try this. I hope that intel fix this.
