Question / Help all manmner of issues

i have error readings, at every step i attempt to get the software to even run. and i am not entirely sure what i am doing wrong. if someone will please tell me what i'm supposed-to-do?
i have made attempts to fill in blanks and make correct mouse clicks but i damn sure don't know how to get it running...

Please make sure that your video drivers and directx installation are up to date.
When that is done, make sure to post a log file and/or dumpfile (if the issue still persist after that)
