Advanced scene switcher glitchy

I’m running OBS 29.1.3 on a Mac mini M2 with 8-core CPU, 10-Core GPU, and 24GB memory. My Internet upload speed is 22 Mbps. I installed Advanced Scene Switcher and have two live camera feeds. The cameras itself are set to 1080p, H.265X, and 6144 bitrate. The streaming bitrate for OBS is 5500 kbps. When I live stream it to youtube the fade or cut setting is glitchy when switching from scene 1 to 2 and vice versus. It’s less glitchy viewing it on OBS. I tried turning on hardware encoding and increased the network buffer to 10MB for each camera. What do you think could be the issue? Search YT for live hawaii pond to see the issue.

I just changed the encoder preset to fast and network buffer to 16MB each camera. Seems to help a lot more but still a tad glitchy now.

I don't think Adv. SS really takes all that much. The encoder will easily swamp whatever effect it may have...unless you're using it for "machine vision" (Google search term): then it might take a bit.

The discussion thread is quite active, including the developer:
If you really think it's Adv. SS, then you might get a better answer over there.
